Gorgeous blooms, jodi! I love the pink, of course, but I'm intrigued by that buttery yellow bud. I don't think I've seen one that colour before. Wolfville has some of the best magnolia tress this time of year.
Jodi, I love magnolias. A tree full of blooms and you can't help but smile. Rose and I saw a yellow one at a nursery the other day and fell in love. Yours is gorgeous. Thank you for the great photos. :)
I love magnolias. I wish my yard was full of them....my husband would cry if I got another one though, 2 is enough LOL. He has a thing about planting too many trees in a yard with hurricane potential :P
Hi Jodi, do these Magnolia exhibit also the hirsutism of the bud, as in what Ami put in her latest post. It is also linded in Noel's site www.aplantfanatic.blogspot.com? Ami joined it to Noel's "hot, loud and proud meme. Thanks.
