  3. Hummingbird dreams, butterfly dreams, froggie dreams, all in the future. So far my only sign of seasonal life has been the first slug of spring:)

  6. It's dark and dreary here... this photo has brightened my day.

I hope to attract hummingbirds in my new garden. At my old house, I saw one come a'lookin but saw nothing it liked and so went on its way... I hope I can get them to stay a while now!

  8. Wow, amazing photo! I hope someday hummingbird can visit my garden, and if I can capture the picture of them would even be great! I am not good at capturing the pictures of life creature yet... The only luck I had is with Bees :)

  9. Excellent shot Jodi. After spending hours one day last fall trying to get a similar photograph, I know how tricky these little ones are to shoot!

  11. Good morning dear hummingbird lady,

It is SNOWING in Oregon as we are journeying through on book tour. I am longing for my gardens and all the hummers that live there.

Hope you are rested and happy,

  13. It won't be as long as it has been. The hummingbirds are begining to show up here as they pass through going north. Beautiful photo.

  14. Hi Jodi~~ How, pray tell, did you get such a fabulous photo? You must be a very patient gal.

I've got year round Anna's hummingbirds living [and squeaking] in my garden. Such funny creatures.

  15. So lovely, Jodi; my dream is to be able to get one decent hummingbird photo this summer. Right now, though, I'd be happy to see a bee!

  17. Wonderful photo Jodi! I don't have much here at the moment to entice the hummingbirds. The Flame Acanthus is leafing out but a long way from blooming, as is the Vitex tree. Hopefully I'll see some hummers this year and be able to get some photos. I'm just going to have to be patient.

  18. I was thinking about humming birds the other day, guess I better mix up my syrup. That's a fabulous shot BTW.
