Such a beautiful photo, and such a magnificent lot of bloom all at once! Hydrangeas are mostly blue around here, but I've helped my mother achieve purple and even pink (her favorite) with the strategic addition of lime. :)
Hi, Jodi; A sweet slam dunk for me. :)) Not only were you referencing a favorite novel of mine, you're growing a fave color of mine, too! Very pretty. Happy Wordless Wednesday! - kate
This sure has been the Winter of discontent for certain. The hydrangea's will be so welcome this summer. One of my favorite flowers and your purple one is gorgeous. Lona
I love the beautiful shades of lavender. It reminds me of a water color. Simply shunning in it's majestic beauty.
In WV you can see pastel shades of lavender, pink and blue. I have a huge old-fashioned snowball bush in my yard. It's always full of white bloom every spring.
What a stunning color! I'm a fan of all hydrangeas, but I've never seen one in this glorious shade of purple. I'm thinking my discontent may soon be over--the sun is shining today, and it's supposed to be in the 40's.

It sure does look like summer in that picture. I love the purple of those flowers, but then again I love all Hydrangeas.
ReplyDeleteHydrangeas are beautiful - we used a bunch of them in our wedding a couple of months ago. NOTHING as stunning as the purple you have, though!
ReplyDeleteHi Jodi~~ There is a hydrangea nearby that has these exact colors. Mine are all pink or blue which is okay but purple is dazzling.
