  1. Such a beautiful photo, and such a magnificent lot of bloom all at once! Hydrangeas are mostly blue around here, but I've helped my mother achieve purple and even pink (her favorite) with the strategic addition of lime. :)

  17. I love the beautiful shades of lavender. It reminds me of a water color. Simply shunning in it's majestic beauty.

    In WV you can see pastel shades of lavender, pink and blue. I have a huge old-fashioned snowball bush in my yard. It's always full of white bloom every spring.

  19. Hydrangeas are beautiful - we used a bunch of them in our wedding a couple of months ago. NOTHING as stunning as the purple you have, though!

  20. Hi Jodi~~ There is a hydrangea nearby that has these exact colors. Mine are all pink or blue which is okay but purple is dazzling.

  21. What a stunning color! I'm a fan of all hydrangeas, but I've never seen one in this glorious shade of purple. I'm thinking my discontent may soon be over--the sun is shining today, and it's supposed to be in the 40's.
