and Blue!
Happy 4th of July to all my garden blogging buddies flung across the United States of America. It's interesting living next door to a country as diverse, as similar, and yet as different as yours is to mine. In the last year, I've learned a LOT more about the US, because of 'talking' with garden bloggers scattered from Maine to Texas, from Lousiana to California, from Arizona to the Heartland. I've learned I need to win the lottery because there are a LOT of places I'd love to visit in the great country next door, and I have you to thank for enriching my education and my perceptions.
Here's hoping you all celebrate a fabulous day today, and that the coming year brings new hope and joy for your country. With love from us lot up here in Canada...EH?
In Poland there are also celebrations - American community is pretty strong and not leaving behind their tradition :)

Thank you Jodi. Yes, our neighborhood was popping and booming last night. People couldn't wait until tonight to set off fireworks.

ReplyDeleteHow very thoughtful of you, jodi! No big plans here, but we always enjoy sitting on our porch in the dark and watching all the fireworks in the skies all around us on the horizon. Romie said we'd have a weenie roast, so I'm looking forward to that.

A marching band from Ontario was in the Bristol parade today and I think I wore out my vocal chords cheering for them! Happy day, Jodi and thanks for being such a great neighbour.

ReplyDeleteAnd I love Canada and her wonderful citizens too! I'm like you... I need to have a huge windfall so I can visit Canada's varied provinces more often. It's been 5 years since we were across the border and that's 5 years too long.

ReplyDeleteHi Jodi, what a wonderful floral flag. I recognize the white anemone, are the reds poppies and the blue some type of forget me nots? All are utterly charming. Thanks for thinking of us. We heard lots of pops and whistles in our neighborhood that night and the big show at the regional park is unmistakeable with its frequency and volume of bursts. It looks like your garden is in full flamboyance.
