The ongoing adventures of gardening in Nova Scotia
Magnificent, indeed! -Jean
Gorgeous blooms, jodi! I love the pink, of course, but I'm intrigued by that buttery yellow bud. I don't think I've seen one that colour before. Wolfville has some of the best magnolia tress this time of year.
Jodi, I love magnolias. A tree full of blooms and you can't help but smile. Rose and I saw a yellow one at a nursery the other day and fell in love. Yours is gorgeous. Thank you for the great photos. :)
Very nice. I love the creamy yellow. I don't see to many of those.
A friend of mine has one of those yellow magnolias. Gorgeous...all of them.
Two words; WOW, Beautiful:)
Stunning! I especially like the yellow. :)
I love magnolias. I wish my yard was full of them....my husband would cry if I got another one though, 2 is enough LOL. He has a thing about planting too many trees in a yard with hurricane potential :P
Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. My favorite flowering tree.
I was thinking I loved the white one best, but then the yellow one scrolled into view~You are so right...Magnificence! gail
Gorgeous! That delicate pink in the first photo just took my breath away! :)
Beautiful. The creamy colored one is outstanding. That's the first magnolia I've seen in that color.Marnie

Oh, that buttery golden blossom just took my breath away. She looks like a fairy princess (if you switch on your imagination and squint just right).Enjoy the spring symphony, Jodi!
Hi Jodi, do these Magnolia exhibit also the hirsutism of the bud, as in what Ami put in her latest post. It is also linded in Noel's site www.aplantfanatic.blogspot.com? Ami joined it to Noel's "hot, loud and proud meme. Thanks.
So beautiful--definitely magnificent! I didn't even realize they could be yellow until I saw one at a nursery the other day. I was sorely tempted...
