We missed you so! The let down of nurseries, the dreadful weather, was a good lead in for those wonderful books. Nan's in particular has given me many ideas for my own garden and Christopher Lloyd was just simply brilliant. I will look for the Ken Druse book too, it sounds like a winner!
FrancesAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20831949.post-23279344035539538492009-01-11T12:16:00.000-04:002009-01-11T12:16:00.000-04:00Jodi, I hope you are doing better. With both cultivar and instructions and photograph details. These kind of books consume a great deal of time. As you well know. I had hoped to write blog on zenofwatering.com at least half as frequent as your write. i gave up. Thanks for your comments on my recent posts; seeing your comments on others' as well leads to me think you are feeling much better--I hope that's true!

This is such a timely post for me. I spent some time the other day ordering different gardening books from the library--a treat during these cold, gray days. More water than we knew what to do with..... a ginormous water reservoir would have been nice, but where to put it!
You hit on a plant that instilled the same reaction in me.... Heuchera! They seem to have a limited range as you say all the usual suspects. I have found myself seeking out specialist nurseries or unusual seeds to grow more unusual plants myself.Helen/patientgardenerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02164036792673009326noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20831949.post-11224855876195759252009-01-10T15:56:00.000-04:002009-01-10T15:56:00.000-04:00Hi Jody, What a lovely, and comprehensive, post.
